Hayford Kofi Boadi, a 25-year-old church secretary, has been arrested for allegedly embezzling GHS 300,000 belonging to a church.

Information gathered indicates that Boadi used the stolen funds to sponsor his gay partner’s tertiary education, citing financial difficulties faced by his partner.
Further revelations indicated that part of the embezzled money was used for travel arrangements aimed at relocating to Canada to avoid potential scandals related to their relationship.
Boadi, who is married with children, reportedly confessed to the crime during interrogation.
