Asante Kotoko returnee Kwame Poku will make his second debut for the club in the Ghana Premier League’s match against Bibiani GoldStars in week 15.
The Porcupine Warriors will unleash their star forward on Friday after completing all necessary documentation to allow him to feature in the league and other competitions.
Poku signed a two-and-a-half-year deal to rejoin the club after a stint in North Africa with USM Alger and Olympique Khourigba.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a successful first stint with the Kumasi-based giants and left as a cult hero.
His return has been greeted with huge excitement by the Kotoko faithful, who are yearning to see him wear the Red shirt again.
Meanwhile, the Porcupine Warriors have been on a good run of form recently, winning their last three matches, including victories over former champions Aduana Stars and sworn rivals Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko remain favourite to win the Premier League as they trail leaders Heart of Lions by only three points.
