The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, chaired by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has officially received a dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal.

In the dossier, the Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa revealed that the scandal has cost Ghana over GHS500 million.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Ablakwa expressed his gratitude to the organisation for their exceptional patriotism.

“We are extremely grateful to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa for the presentation and their exceptional patriotism. Together, we shall reset Ghana and recover all loot,” he stated.

The ORAL team is committed to investigating and addressing the fraudulent activities that have led to significant financial losses for the country. The dossier will play a crucial role in their efforts to recover the stolen funds and hold those responsible accountable.

This development comes as part of a broader initiative to combat corruption and enhance transparency within Ghana’s public sector.

This comes after the anti-corruption preparatory team rolled out a series of interactive platforms designed to facilitate public reporting of suspected acts of corruption.

These platforms aim to encourage transparency and accountability by providing a safe and discreet means for individuals to share critical information without fear.

Mahama’s Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team is chaired by the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

Other members include former Auditor General Daniel Domelevo, COP (Rtd) Kofi Boakye, private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu, and investigative journalist Raymond Archer.
