Jordan Ayew’s late equalizer nominated for Leicester City Goal of the Month Award
Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew’s goal against Ipswich Town in the English Premier League has been nominated for Leicester City’s Goal of the Month Award in November.
Ayew scored in the 94th minute to get The Foxes a 1-1 draw with Ipswich at Portman Road; the result marked the third straight draw between the teams with two prior drawn results taking place in the English Championship when both teams played in the second tier before earning promotion to the top flight division.
Brilliantly controlling a pass from the left side, Ayew exchanged quick passes with Jamie Vardy before sweeping the ball through the legs of Ipswich Town goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.
Ayew’s goal has been nominated alongside goals from Facundo Bouananotte, and fans have until Sunday, December 15, to vote for the winner.
Jordan Ayew has scored three goals in 15 league appearances since moving from Crystal Palace to Leicester in the main transfer window.
Leicester City take on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday, December 14 at 15:00 GMT. Scroll down to watch Jordan Ayew’s nominated goal.
