[VIDEO] Bawumia votes in Walewale, confident of victory

Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia cast his vote in the Walewale constituency of the Savannah Region in northern Ghana in the early hours of today, December 7.

Dr. Bawumia voted a few minutes after 8 am after polls opened across the country.

Upon his arrival at the polling station, Dr. Bawumia received a warm welcome from enthusiastic supporters and constituents.

Many gathered to show their support and share words of encouragement as he prepared to cast his ballot.

After voting, Dr. Bawumia addressed the media, expressing his optimism about the outcome of the elections.

He highlighted his confidence in the NPP’s robust campaign and the trust Ghanaians have placed in the party’s governance and developmental achievements.

“I am confident of victory; Ghanaians have seen the transformation and progress we have delivered over the years. I believe they will vote to sustain this trajectory of development and hope,” Dr. Bawumia stated.

The Vice President also called on all Ghanaians to participate actively in the democratic process by voting peacefully and responsibly.

He emphasised the importance of upholding the nation’s democratic values and ensuring a smooth electoral process.

Dr. Bawumia praised the Electoral Commission and polling officials for their professionalism and urged citizens to cooperate fully to maintain transparency and fairness during the elections.
