Hearts of Oak battle Asante Kotoko for ex-Aduana Stars forward Isaac Mintah
Hearts of Oak has expressed a strong interest in Asante Kotoko target, Isaac Mintah ahead of the second transfer window.
The 25-year-old is currently unattached after ending his spell with the Libyan outfit, Al-Ahli.
Mintah joined Al-Ahli in February 2024 following his swashbuckling performance for Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League last season.
Following a short-stint in Libya, the former New Edubiase United forward has returned to Ghana as he seeks a move in the upcoming window.
Mintah has been training with Asante Kotoko since October and is being assessed by the technical team of the club.
According to Kumasi-based Kessben FM, Kotoko’s sworn rivals Hearts of Oak have also expressed interest in the forward as they seek to augment their attack in the second window.
The Phobians will, however, battle Kotoko for the services of the talented attacker in the next window.
The 23-year-old forward racked up 17 goals and provided 4 assists in 40 appearances in the Ghanaian top-division before departing for greener pastures.
