Black Sherif trolls Shatta Wale over fake ‘Calvlein’ underwear
Dancehall King Shatta Wale became the center of attention last night after sharing photos on social media wearing what appeared to be a fake ‘Calvlein’ underwear.
Fellow musician Black Sherif wasted no time mocking Shatta as he reposted the image on Snapchat with a sarcastic tone, accompanied by a sound clip that seemed to poke fun at the situation.
This jab from Blacko came as a response to Shatta Wale’s earlier critique of his fashion choices.
Shatta had previously commented that in Blacko’s quest for uniqueness, some of his outfits “do not make sense” and suggested he seek a stylist for a complete rebranding.
However, the narrative took a surprising turn when Shatta Wale revealed that the fake ‘Calvlein’ underwear was part of a calculated strategy.
He explained that it was a deliberate move to stir conversations and generate buzz ahead of the release of his latest music video for Wash.
Shatta later shared unedited photos showing him wearing authentic Calvin Klein underwear, exposing the earlier image as an intentional edit.
Black Sherif, upon realizing the ploy, quickly deleted his mocking post, while Shatta humorously declared that he had once again “scammed” his audience in the name of entertainment.
The saga has left fans amused, with many praising Shatta Wale’s ingenuity in keeping the spotlight on himself and fueling the creative energy within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
