A gruesome altercation between two drivers in Kwabeng, Atiwa West District, has left a pragya driver hospitalized with severe facial injuries.
Information gathered indicates that the pragya driver confronted a trotro driver for overtaking him.
In the course of the confrontation, the situation escalated, following which the trotro driver, who is currently on the run, attacked him and bit off his upper lip.
Narrating the incident, an eyewitness stated, “The pragya driver wanted to pick up some passengers that the other driver was interested in. The two exchanged furious words, and the other driver, in a fit of rage, bit the pragya driver on the lip and part of his lip came off. He is currently in a serious condition and needs approximately GHC3,500 to begin treatment,” he stated.
Meanwhile, police have commenced an investigation into the matter.
