Travelling to Ghana is my most exciting trip yet – Jamaican star Spice

 

Grammy-award nominee Grace Latoya Hamilton known professionally as Spice has said travelling to Ghana is her most exciting trip yet.

Spice arrived in Ghana on Friday, November 15, to shoot a music video with iconic Ghanaian reggae-dancehall star, Stonebwoy.

The duo have collaborated on the hit track “Jiggy & Whine,” and the upcoming music video which is highly anticipated by fans worldwide is set to be shot on Sunday, November 17.

Speaking to the press after arriving in Ghana, Spice who was warmly welcomed at the Kotoka International Airport by Stonebwoy himself revealed that she has been in the music industry for 25 years and that she has traveled to different countries but coming to Ghana is her most exciting trip yet.

The celebrated Jamaican Dancehall Queen stated that immediately after she arrived in Ghana, she made a video because the country looked like Jamaica.

“I have been in the music Industry for 25 years, so if you do the math you will know how many places I have travelled to but this is my most exciting trip yet, Ghana the queen is here. The flight was amazing but guess what, I didn’t sleep last night, I slept on the flight.” She said

“Immediately I landed in Ghana, I made a video, the country looks like Jamaica. I haven’t seen anything yet, it’s my first time in Ghana so I haven’t seen anything yet. Let it be known that Stonebwoy brought me to Ghana for the first time”, Spice added

Spice, recognized as one of the most influential figures in dancehall music, is celebrated for her powerful vocals, dynamic performances, and fearless lyrical style.
