Young Ghanaian female referee selected for CAF African School Championship

Young Ghanaian female referee, Dauchibile Jenenuba Nazifah has been selected to officiate at the 2024 CAF and FIFA African School Championship.

The 3rd CAF African Schools Football Championship has been scheduled to take place at Niger from November 18-20.

Dauchibile Jenenuba, who is from the Upper West Region will be joined by compatriot, Angelous Akurugu Adongo from the Greater Accra Region.

The implementation of the “Catch Them Young” program under Kurt Okraku’s led Ghana Football Association has duly paid off following the selection of the Ghanaian duo for the continental tournament.

Launched in 2020, the “Catch Them Young” program identifies and trains aspiring referees between the ages of 12 and 18.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship is an initiative aim at developing youth football across the continent of Africa.

The competition offers young players an invaluable platform to showcase their skills and pursue their football dreams

Additionally, the tournament symbolizes CAF’s commitment to nurturing African football talent and its support for the growth of future top stars on the continent.
