Coach Joseph Asare Bediako denies quitting Young Apostles
Joseph Asare Bediako has denied resigning from his role as the head coach of Ghana Premier League outfit, Young Apostles.
Reports went rife that the former Berekum Chelsea gaffer has quit his post at Young Apostles following their stalemate against Bibiani Goldstars in the ongoing Premier League campaign.
But the former Hearts of Oak assistant coach insists he is still the head for the Premier League debutants.
“I have not resigned. I’m still at post, that’s all I can say for now” he told Kessben FM.
The match, held at the Wenchi Sports Stadium ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the net.
Bediako has guided the newly-promoted side to only 2 wins of their last 10 games, drawing 4, and losing 4.The experienced trainer joined Apostles at the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign.
Apostles will need to bounce back quickly to salvage their season and climb up the league table. They are presently just two points above the relegation zone.
