A 37-year-old Ivorian national has been found dead at Kasoa Krispol City behind Star Oil Filling Station in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region.
Reports indicate that Vincent Kofi poisoned himself after his girlfriend announced that she was pregnant.
According to residents, Vincent was seen stranded in the area over the weekend and was later found unconscious behind the filling station.
One of the residents revealed that a phone was found on him, which he used to contact the girlfriend.
The lady was called to figure out if she knew the gentleman, and she confirmed that he was her boyfriend but had fled after learning about her pregnancy.

The body has since been deposited at the police hospital for autopsy and preservation.
This suicide story comes after a 23-year-old mobile money vendor, Kwabena Gideon, reportedly poisoned himself over a GH¢16,000 debt in the same Central Region.
It is reported that the deceased drank Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) insecticide after losing ¢16,000 within two weeks.
Sources indicate that the angry boss suspected Gideon had squandered the money after he turned off his phone and deleted all his pictures and contacts from social media.
He then reported the matter to the police in Awutu Bereku.
Out of fear of going to jail, Gideon is said to have poisoned himself.
