Legon Cities coach Paa Kwesi Fabin doesn’t fear the sack
Legon Cities head coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin says he does not fear losing his job following the team’s unimpressive start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Royals has managed only two points from the initial seven games in the domestic top-flight, leaving them at the bottom of the standings.
Fabin and his charges are yet to find their rhythm in the top-flight and must show resilience and determination if they are to maintain their status in the league at the end of the season.
Legon Cities remains winless in the Premier League after failing to amass maximum points against Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday.
“Our team is a work in progress. Two points from seven games is not good enough, and I must admit it,” Coach Fabin stated. “But what can we do? We will keep working hard and aim to win games.”
Quizzed about potential sacking following their sloppy start, he said, “I keep telling people that, if the worse comes, I will be asked to step aside and I will quickly do so”
Legon Cities faces a daunting task against Asante Kotoko in an outstanding Ghana Premier League clash on Wednesday.
