A fire outbreak has razed the Honeysuckle Pub and Restaurant in Labone, leaving the owners with huge losses.
The inferno started at about 5 pm on Saturday, October 26, and spread throughout the building.
Equipment, electronic gadgets, furniture and many items were consumed by the inferno.
A quick response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) prevented the fire from spreading by containing the flames in the restaurant’s kitchen.
Officials from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) were also at the scene to disconnect power to prevent any potential reignition and to ensure the safety of responders.
Assistant Division Officer Alex King Nartey later provided an update on the incident, highlighting the successful coordination between GNFS and ECG in securing the premises and minimizing damage.
