The Assin Kyiano community in the Central Region has been gripped by fear after four Class 6 students, aged 13-15 died under mysterious circumstances.
Close sources suggest that the deaths of these students were linked to a missing Gh¢2000 belonging to one Nana Kwabena Nyarko.
After the money went missing, Nana Kwabena Nyarko allegedly cursed the person who stole the money.
Subsequently, it was discovered that the chief’s grandson had used the stolen money to buy food and shared it among school friends.
The Krontihene of Nana Jatuah stated that traditional leaders were investigating and working to appease the gods to avoid further deaths.
Parents have been assured that progress is being made and advised against withdrawing their children from the school.
Meanwhile, Nana Kwabena Nyarko has denied involvement in any curse.
The remaining affected students are reportedly receiving spiritual assistance at prayer camps.
