Frederick Asare praises Asante Kotoko teammates after unbeaten start

Asante Kotoko captain, Frederick Asare has praised his teammates for their unbeaten start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

After six matches, the Porcupine Warriors are in an impressive second place on the league table with 14 points, having secured four victories and two draws, remaining unbeaten with one outstanding game.

In light of their successful run, Asare has praised his teammates for their performance but charged them to stay focused as they work to achieve the bigger objective.

“We are all happy with our progress and the quality we have shown in our games,” he told the club’s media.

“This is what the club deserves and each and every one of us will continue working hard to achieve the bigger objectives, but for now, we just have to keep our focus and take it game after game.

“However, I am impressed with the attitude of the boys,” he added.

In their upcoming fixtures, Asante Kotoko will face Legon Cities in a rescheduled match on Wednesday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, before heading to the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium to take on Basake Holy Stars in Matchday 8.
