WAFU B Championship: Musibau’s brace seals crucial win for Black Satellites against Niger

Ghana’s Black Satellites secured a crucial 2-0 win over Niger in their second group match at the WAFU U-20 Zone B tournament being hosted by Togo, thanks to Aziz Musbau’s impressive brace.

This victory comes on the heels of their 2-2 draw against Benin in the opening game, where Jerry Afriyie’s late equalizer saved the day.

The match against Niger was a nail-biter, with both teams struggling to find the back of the net in the first half.

However, Ghana came out stronger after the break, with Musbau breaking the deadlock just after the hour mark with a stunning long-range shot.

He then sealed the deal in the 73rd minute with a close-range finish, securing all three points for Ghana.

This win propels Ghana to four points, putting them in a strong position to advance to the next round of the competition.

The Black Satellites are looking to make a return to the Africa U20 Championship, and this victory is a significant step in that direction.
