A massive manhunt is underway in Kwahu South Municipality for three male students from Mpraeso Senior High School, accused of participating in the alleged gang rape of a female student on October 13.
The trio is part of a group of eight suspects implicated in the incident.
The school management has pledged full cooperation with the investigation, ensuring the situation is under control.
The victim sharing her harrowing experience, recounted how she was approached by a male student while walking with a friend to buy food from the school’s canteen.
As the male student got closer to her, seven others joined, and her friend left.
According to her, she was not aware of the conversation between the suspects and her friend before departing.

She explained that subsequently, the eight students forcibly assaulted her sexually.
The victim has undergone medical checks and is seeking justice, stating, “I want the suspects to face the full rigour of the law.”
The headmaster of Mpreaso SHS, James Affadu, confirmed the incident and announced that the disciplinary committee had dismissed all eight suspects involved in the matter.
