I’m not interested in records; I just want Ghana to beat Sudan on Tuesday – Otto Addo
Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has stressed that his only priority is to guide Ghana to defeat Sudan next week.
The tactician is leading the national team to Libya for their second meeting with Sudan in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ahead of the game, Coach Otto Addo has emphasised that he is not interested in records.
Speaking after Ghana’s goalless draw with Sudan in the first meeting, Coach Otto Addo said he just wants his side to secure all three points from the second game.
“Look, I’m not interested in any records or whatsoever. I want to win the next game, and then the world looks different, that’s all. All these statistics and this and that, it’s like that. What can I do? We can only look forward and look for the next match and try to score, that’s all. We will try as much as we did today, and then it will be rewarded. That’s all I can say,” Coach Otto Addo said at the presser.
The Black Stars have today departed Ghana for Libya. Upon arrival, the team will continue preparations with a mandatory training session at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday.
Tuesday’s match, scheduled to kick off at 13:00 GMT
