Popular Ghanaian musician spotted hawking snacks in Accra traffic

Multiple award-winning rapper, Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known in show business as Edem, was on Monday spotted selling on the street of Accra.

In time past, a lot of artists have expressed concern about the state of the country’s entertainment industry and are diversifying into other ventures.

The likes of Emelia Brobbey, Nana Ama McBrown, C-Zar, Lucky Mensah, Hammer, John Dumelo, Salma Mumin have all ventured into one trade or the other.

The newest to join the tall list is the ‘Hetoto” hitmaker, Edem.

Edem was seen selling what seems to be No.8 chips, a snack at Dworwulu traffic light in Accra.

The singer took to social media to share a video of himself selling with the caption “Street Boy: Street Hustle…I repeat …Don’t be ashamed of whatever gets you paid…. Salute every Ghetto youth”.

In the video, most of the buyers of the product were seen delighted and in awe of seeing one of Ghana’s favorite rappers selling directly to them.
