Women’s Premier Super Cup: Dreamz Ladies beat Hasaacas to reach final

Northern Zone outfit Dreamz Ladies FC reached the final of the ongoing Women’s Premier Super Cup following their win over Hasaacas Ladies on Friday, September 27.

Dreamz were superior throughout the game and finished on the winning side with a 2-1 scoreline.

Yaa Abrafi opened the scoring for the Northern side in the 18th minute. Grace Banwaa fumbled her shot from close range in goal for Hasaacas.

Veronica Baah Kumah had the Hasmal Ladies’ first chance of the game but her effort came off the crossbar.

Dreamz held onto their lead and went into the break ahead.

Hasaacas continued to press after the return from recess but found it challenging to break the opposition’s defence.

Dreamz doubled their lead seven minutes into the second half with Mary Sarpomaa pouncing on a loose ball in the penalty area to make it 2-0.

Hasaacas grabbed a goal late into the second half through a brilliant strike by Mercy Attobrah but it only ended up being a consolation.

The game ended 2-1 with Dreamz making the final for the first time since the inception of the competition.

Dreamz Ladies will face the winner of the game between Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Faith Ladies.
