The Ghana Report Jobs and Entrepreneurship Fair, which aims to tackle unemployment, is taking place from September 19th to October 5th, 2024, at the Independence Square and Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

The fair has brought together stakeholders from various sectors to provide employment opportunities for the youth.

Other participants are undertaking practical skills through rapid skills acquisition training, covering areas such as CCTV installation, solar panel installation, fashion design, STEM, and more.

Renowned business leaders will also deliver talk sessions on entrepreneurship, innovation, and the future of work.

Employment processes and skills training are taking place during the day, complemented with free food, and the nights are for entertainment.

Organised by The Ghana Report, a subsidiary of I-ZAR Group and winner of the Best News Portal of the Year and the Best Portal in Corporate Social Responsibilities at the 25th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, The Ghana Report Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair is an innovative and life-changing programme designed to connect job seekers with employers and empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and networks needed to succeed.

The programme is being rolled out in partnership with notable institutions like the Youth Employment Agency (YEA).

Meanwhile, the Group Chief Executive of I-ZAR and Chief Executive of The Ghana Report, Rashida Saani, has said the fair is a powerful demonstration of what public-private partnerships can achieve when they work together to tackle one of Ghana’s most pressing challenges: unemployment.

She assured attendees that equal opportunities and job offers will be given to qualified persons based on competence and merit, without protocol or favouritism.
