A massive inferno swept through Tuobodom, a suburb located in Tema Community 12, destroying over 100 wooden structures.

Firefighters worked tirelessly to contain the blaze as swift action prevented further damage.

However, the extent of destruction remains substantial.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

This incident comes after a devastating fire swept through a wooden building in Kumasi Alabar in the early hours of Friday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Eyewitnesses reported that the fire had already consumed the entire structure by the time personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) arrived on the scene.

Residents, frustrated by the delayed response, vented their anger at the firefighters, accusing them of arriving too late to save the property.

The crowd expressed their discontent with jeers and verbal attacks, criticizing the firefighters’ response time.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported, but the fire left a family homeless, with all their belongings lost to the flames.

Also in a similar situation, a devastating fire outbreak at Kpone Kokompe Farms in the Kpone Katamanso Municipality of the Greater Accra Region resulted in the loss of four lives.

The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 11:20 pm, destroying about 10 wooden structures.

The victims include a 27-year-old man, a 14-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old baby.

Despite efforts by firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service, the fire spread rapidly, making rescue attempts futile.

A neighbour who witnessed the incident described the intensity of the fire, stating that attempts to save the victims were unsuccessful due to the swift spread of the flames.
