Six critically injured in horrific crash at Tafo

A devastating road accident occurred at Tafo Club 600 in the Ashanti Region, leaving six people severely injured.

Eyewitnesses report that a KIA Rhino truck with registration number AS 6803-T lost control and ran over a taxi cab and a rickshaw on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

According to witnesses, the truck’s failure to brake in time led to the horrific crash, which involved an Opel Astra and the rickshaw.

The impact of the accident they said was massive, resulting in severe injuries to the six victims.

The injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at the Tafo Hospital.

The extent of their injuries is still being assessed, but eyewitnesses describe the scene as chaotic and disturbing.

The police have launched an investigation into the accident and are working to determine the cause of the truck’s brake failure.

The driver of the Rhino truck is assisting the authorities with their inquiries.

This incident comes after a gory road accident claimed the lives of 14 passengers, with 16 severely injured on the Goaso-Mim road, leaving a community in shock.

The tragic incident occurred on September 6, 2024.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bus was carrying a group of workers when it was involved in the accident.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.

Information gathered indicates that the vehicle transporting the workers belonged to a Chinese company.

They narrated that some of the victims had their legs and parts of their bodies severed.
