Four new members appointed to GFA Appeals Committee
Four new members have been appointed to the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association during its 30th Ordinary Session held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
These new appointments bring the total number of committee members to ten, joining the six members who were retained for a four-year term following unanimous approval last week.
In a statement released on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the GFA announced, “The new Appeals Committee will serve for the next four years, starting from the date of their appointment, August 27, 2024.”
Among the retained members is Lawyer David Asumda, who takes over as Chairperson, while Lawyer Godwin Mensah Sackey steps in as Vice Chairperson.
The other retained members are Lawyer Eva Okyere, Dr. Bella Bello Bitugu, Abdul Azziz Musah, Lawyer Emmanuel Kwesi Opare-Wiredu, and Frank Okyere Addo, all continuing as members.
The new additions to the Appeals Committee include Lawyer Emmanuel Augustus Amissah, Lawyer Mark Achel, and Lawyer Winfred Sola Aklamati.
