AFCONQ: Partey and Fatawu Issahaku join Black Stars camp

Thomas Partey and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku have all joined Black Stars camp for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

 

The team officially opened camp on Sunday in Accra with Tariq Lamptey, Joseph Wollacott, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, and Frederick Asare all joining the camp.

Partey and Issahaku teamed up with the rest of their teammates on Monday morning with the rest of the invited players are all expected to join the camp today.

 

Otto Addo, who is the head coach of the team announced a 23-man squad for the games last week Thursday for the two games.

The first training session will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium later today before jetting off to Kumasi on Tuesday for the first group game against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday, September 5.

Following this, the team will travel to Niger for their first away game which will be played in Berkane in Morocco.

Otto Addo is aiming to secure a win in his first two games.
