2025 AFCON Qualifiers: Black Stars to hold first training session today
Ghana’s Black Stars are set to commence training today in Accra, marking the beginning of their preparations for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
The team is gearing up for a pivotal September international break, with crucial matches against Angola and Niger.
Head Coach Otto Addo unveiled his squad last Thursday, featuring notable players like Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey, generating excitement among fans and players.
Seven players, including Tariq Lamptey and Joseph Wollacott, have already reported to camp, with more expected to join on Monday.
The first official training session will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium under Coach Addo’s supervision.
The Black Stars will kick off their campaign against Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, followed by an away game against Niger.
These matches are vital for Ghana’s strong start in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
