A devastating road accident occurred on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Tanoso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region, leaving multiple passengers injured.
According to reports, the accident was a collision between a trailer with registration number GC-1758-09 and a commercial vehicle carrying passengers with registration number AS5198-23.
Emergency services promptly responded, transporting the injured victims to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and the Kwadaso SDA Hospital for medical treatment.
The driver of the trailer is currently in police custody, assisting authorities in investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
