Samuel Boadu explains decision to extend contract with Berekum Chelsea
Experienced tactician Samuel Boadu has explained why he extended his contract with Ghana Premier League outfit, Berekum Chelsea.
Boadu signed a short-term deal to finish the 2023/24 season with the club after Christopher Ennin departed the Berekum-based outfit.
The former Hearts of Oak coach impressed, helping the club to finish third in the Ghana Premier League last season.
Following a fruitful negotiations, both parties have agreed to continue their marriage for the next two years.
Explaining his decision, he said, “I extended my contract with Chelsea because of how the president, Amofa Jantuah and CEO, Nana Kwame Nketiah treated me. The good treatment meted out to me in my short spell motivated me to continue with the club”
The Bibires are currently preparing for the upcoming domestic top-flight season scheduled for September.
And the club will be counting on Samuel Boadu as they seek to secure their second Ghana Premier League title next season. The Bibires last won the Ghanaian top-flight in 2011.
