Gyakie calls for reduction of data prices
Famous Ghanaian songstress Gyakie has joined the ongoing online campaign advocating for a reduction in data prices in Ghana.
The campaign, which has been trending for about a month, highlights the high cost of internet data in the country.
Adding her voice to the movement, Gyakie expressed her support in a social media post, stating, “Make data accessible and increase users. The cheaper the data, the easier it is to recruit more users, and telcos make more money, no?” She wrote
Gyakie who released her first single in 2019 is known for songs including “Love is Pretty”, “Never Like This” and Rent Free
