Fatawu Issahaku could make English Premier League debut for Leicester City

Black Stars forward Fatawu Issahaku is in line to make his English Premier League debut as Leicester City face Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.

The 20-year-old is expected to be included in the matchday squad, having been spotted training with the team.

Fatawu, who joined Leicester on a season-long loan in August 2023, was directly involved in 19 goals during the Championship last season.

His impressive performances led to Leicester making the deal permanent, paying Sporting CP £14m for his permanent services.

He signed a five-year contract with the 2016 Premier League champions, and said he feels “so much motivation” to be in England’s top-flight.

In other team news, Patson Daka, Jamie Vardy, and Conor Coady have been ruled out of the clash due to injuries.
