Legon Cities coach reveals transfer plans ahead of new season
Legon Cities tactician Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has given an update about his outfit transfer plans ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The Royals are yet to make any major signing in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Despite not making signings, the Accra-based club has cashed in on top players including Samuel Tenedu, Mohammed Sumaila and Kwabena Boateng.
The former Asante Kotoko trainer disclosed the club’s transfer plans, saying they will not make any top signing in the ongoing window.
“The bulk of the team is there. Samuel Tenedu, Kwabena Boateng, and Mohammed Sumaila are the only players to have departed the team and that’s why we are doing this exercise to replace them” he said.
Meanwhile, the experienced tactician has expressed his outfit will rely on second division players for the new season and does intend to make any major signings.
“At Legon Cities, we don’t make signings, we only rely on second division players. Last season, we did same and it worked out. We picked Tenedu from Ebony FC in Kumasi and he is now star. That is what Legon Cities is made off” he said.
Legon Cities are currently preparing for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, which commences next month.
