Ghana Premier League side Medeama has announced a thrilling match against Asante Kotoko at their new home stadium, TNA Stadium.
The club shared the news on their official social media platforms, stating, “We are taking on Asante Kotoko Sporting Club on the historic inauguration day of the TNA Stadiumđïž The Porcupine will definitely feel the heat !!đ„”
The stadium, built by the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation, will officially open to the public on August 16, 2024. Medeama sees this match as a crucial part of their preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The Yellow and Mauve have bolstered their squad with new signings to strengthen their team for the new campaign.
Medeama fans have expressed their excitement about supporting their team in the brand new home ground, eagerly anticipating the historic encounter with Asante Kotoko.
The club has announced its program of activities earmarked for pre-season.
The team, under the guidance of Coach Nebojsa Kapor, will continue with training on Wednesday 24 July, 2024 at the Akoon Community Park.
The players and officials will then head to the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, to hold an 18-Day Pre-Season Training starting Friday July 26 with the team expected to return to Tarkwa on Tuesday August 13, 2024.
