Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium to feature Ghana’s first digital pitch advertising Board
According to reports, the newly constructed Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium (TnA) will be the first in Ghana to feature a digital pitch advertising board.
This modern 10,000-seater stadium will boast a state-of-the-art digital advertising panel provided by Gold Fields Ghana Ltd.
This innovative addition promises to revolutionize stadium advertising, enhancing the experience for both spectators and advertisers.
The digital board, with its advanced technology and dynamic display capabilities, aims to captivate audiences and offer an immersive advertising platform.
“It stands at 90% complete. A lot of the items needed to finish it are in-country, we had to take our time on a few things for purely safety reasons and nothing else,” disclosed Goldfields Foundation Executive Secretary Abdel-Razak Yakub in an interview on progress of work done so far.
“We had to appoint somebody who would sit here and ensure that things are done the way that would protect all of us and also done to the best of quality.”
Currently 90 percent complete, the stadium is expected to be handed over to Ghanaian top-flight side Medeama ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
According to sources, the stadium when completed will be managed by the Municipal and the National Sports Authority (NSA).
