Great Olympics New Committee’s immediate task is to appoint new coach- Kudjoe Fianoo
Kudjoe Fianoo, a member of Accra Great Olympics’ newly formed three-man committee, has revealed that the committee’s top priority is to appoint a new head coach.
In an exclusive interview with Channel One, Fianoo stated that this move is crucial following the club’s relegation from the Ghana Premier League and the subsequent dissolution of its management board.
The Accra-based club had a tumultuous season, finishing 16th out of 18 teams and going through three head coaches – Annor Walker, Jimmy Cobblah, and Henry Orlando Wellington.
“I don’t think that this committee is going to see through the entire season. As we speak, we are on the search for a coach. When we get the coach, we will some named to the Board for consideration and then we will form the management committee that will be in charge of the day to day running of the club. So our mission is to make sure that we fill in the gap as the club prepares to move into Division One.”
Kwame Asuah Takyi, Oluboye Commodore and Kudjoe Fianoo make up the three man committee.
