GFA holds workshop for newly-promoted Division One League clubs
The Club Licensing Department of the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday, July 10, organised a one-day workshop on the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) for the newly promoted Access Bank Division One League Clubs.
The workshop took place at the Headquarters of the Ghana FA.
The workshop according to a communique from the GFA, is part of its commitment to keep the newly promoted clubs at the cutting edge of the digital space and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective Club Licensing engagements.
The clubs that benefited from the workshop include Dormaa Unity FC, Port City, True Democracy FC, Walewale Catholic Stars, Wa Sore Nante FC, Inter Allies and Galaxy FC.
All six clubs were taken through the new regulations and a practical session in the application process.
Wednesday’s workshop was facilitated by the GFA’s Club Licensing Manager Esme Mends and CLOP instructor, Francis Adu.
“This program is a testament to our commitment to elevating the standards of football in Ghana.
“By ensuring that clubs meet the licensing requirements, we are fostering a professional environment that benefits players, fans, and the broader football community,” GFA Club Licensing Manager, Esme Mends said in an interview with the association’s media team.
