Normal to have clubs interested in me- Mohammed Kudus on transfer rumours
Black Stars and West Ham United midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, has described rumours linking him with a move to several clubs as “normal”.
He said this according to The Athletic, as The Hammers prepare for pre-season in the lead up to the start of the 2024-2025 English Premier League campaign in August.
Kudus has been linked with a move to Liverpool, Manchester United and Saudi Arabia side Al-Ittihad in recent weeks after the 23 year old performed well in his debut season in the EPL from Ajax Amsterdam.
On the subject of transfers, the recently crowned Ghana Footballer of the Year downplayed it and stated his focus is on the upcoming season stating,
“When you perform at those kinds of levels in a league like this, it’s normal to have rumours and hear about other clubs (being interested) but right now my focus is getting prepared for the new season and then we’ll see how everything goes.”
In his first season at West Ham, Kudus registered 18 goals and seven assists in 48 games in all competitions.
