Kotoko bolsters attack with Sudanese striker AbdoelKarem Yoouef Yagoub

Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko, have secured the services of Sudanese striker AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub on a year-long loan deal, with an option for a permanent transfer.

The move comes as a strategic effort to fortify the club’s attacking front following the exit of Ugandan international Steven Mukwala at the conclusion of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

The Kumasi-based outfit officially announced the signing on their social media platforms, warmly welcoming the Hay Alwady of Sudan forward to the Porcupine family. The post read, “The newest addition to the PORCUPINE family: AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub. The Sudanese striker joins us on a year contract with a club option of a permanent deal. Akwaaaba, Yagoub!”

Asante Kotoko is currently gearing up for a highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the inaugural Democracy Cup, scheduled for July 17th at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The newly signed striker, Yagoub, is expected to make his debut in this intense match against the Phobians.
