Nsoatreman FC appoints new head coach

The reigning Ghana FA Cup champions, Nsoatreman FC, have officially appointed Yaw Preko as their new head coach.

Preko committed to a two-year contract to replace former coach Maxwell Konadu who moved to the South African club, Black Leopards as its new head coach.

Significant achievements marked Konadu’s tenure with Nsoatreman FC. He led the team to a top-four finish and secured their first major trophy by winning the MTN FA Cup with a victory over regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano FC in the finals.

Nsoatreman FC announced Preko’s appointment on their social media platforms, stating,

OFFICIAL NOTICE We gladly confirm that Coach Yaw Preko, A.K.A RUSH, has signed a deal with our club. Welcome to Amanaso, RUSH!

Preko, who brings extensive experience from managing various clubs, including Accra Hearts of Oak, Medeama SC, and Ifeanyi Ubah, will lead the team in the 2024/25 season, aiming to defend the FA Cup and excel in the CAF Confederations Cup.

His wealth of experience and current role as coach for the national U-15 team makes him a valuable asset to the team.
