The Electoral Commission (EC) has reassigned its Director of Electoral Services, Dr Serebour Quaicoe, as part of preparations for the December 7 general election.
Dr Quaicoe has been appointed to head the EC’s Training Department.
The change was announced in a letter dated April 30, signed by the Commission’s chairperson, Jean Mensa, and addressed to Dr Quaicoe.
The letter stated that his new role would commence on July 1.

In this regard, Dr Quaicoe has been instructed to hand over his current responsibilities to the deputy chairman in charge of operations.
“I am pleased to inform you of the Commission’s decision to appoint you, Director for Training at the Head Office.”
“In this regard, you are by this letter transferred from the Electoral Services Department as the Director to head the Training Department,” an excerpt of the letter said.
