A 38-year-old man, Kweku Asamoah, has been arrested by the Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command for shooting at a prophetess in Gomoa Ojobi in the Central Region.

Information gathered indicates that the suspect, Mr. Asamoah, became angry with Prophetess Gabriella Ruth, who is the founder of God’s Life Prayer Prophetic Ministry after she revealed to his wife that he intends to use their two sons for rituals in Benin.

According to the prophetess, on December 31, 2023, during the service, a spirit manifested in one of the children, revealing the plans of their father to use them for money rituals in Benin. So she prayed for the children.

After the prayers, she inquired of their father and told plans Mr. Asamoah had against his children.

Mr. Asamoah subsequently traveled to Benin, and upon his return, threatened to kill her for thwarting his mission.

Around 5:30 pm on Monday, May 20, 2024, Mr. Asamoah came with a motorbike wielding a single-barrel gun and immediately fired three times when he arrived at her house, but she escaped unscathed.

Mr. Asamoah was arrested, and the gun was retrieved.

The suspect, Kweku Asamoah, is in custody at the Gomoa Ojobi District Police Command.
