President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s convoy has been involved in a fatal accident near Bunso Junction in the Eastern region.
According to reports, the convoy was crossed by a KIA Rhino truck, resulting in a collision that claimed the life of one individual and left others seriously injured.
The dead was a convoy driver called Kwesi Atta.
Three soldiers who got injured were rushed to the Suhum Government Hospital Emergency Center for medical treatment.
More details about the accident are still emerging.
Information gathered suggests President Akufo-Addo, who attended the funeral of former deputy finance minister John Kumah in Kumasi, was not part of the convoy involved in the accident.
