The pitch invader during Black Stars AFCON qualifier against South Africa has been given a police enquiry bail.
Central Regional Police Commander, COP Paul Awuni, told Joy News they will take him through the legal processes to serve as a deterrent and also protect the country’s image in terms of security.
Awal Sulemana, 25, who is a resident in Cape Coast was a 400-metre runner during his Senior High Schoo days in Apam Senior High School in the Central region.
The nurse who schooled at the Nalerigu College of Nursing invaded the pitch during the Black Stars 2-0 victory at home against South Africa.
