Rainstorm destroys structures at Anlo Senior High School

The Anlo Senior High School, ANSEC, in Anloga, Volta region was severely thrashed by Tuesday’s rains, resulting in the destruction of all makeshift structures on the campus.

Among all concerns, the one which is the most felt is the kitchen which operates in a temporal shed. When the dust settled, the catering staff was seen picking up their items on the debris which covered a wide radius.

This then highlights the dangers faced by Ghana’s schools under trees where academic lessons literally take place in the open. The writing boards are supported by trees, and all put together conduct exercises under sheds.
