UK-based Ghanaian Afrobeat artiste, Kwaku Siaw Agyabeng, otherwise known as Uncle Nsemonee, has accused Afro B of song theft.

Uncle Nsemonee, who released ‘So Me Ha Nom’ with Guru in 2015, claims Afro B illegally copied his song.

He lamented that it is bad for the UK-based Afrobeat artiste to sample his song without seeking permission from him or his management.

According to him, Afro B’s song ‘Joanna (Drogba)’ released in 2018 is a clear copy of his intellectual property and he won’t sit aloof for him to play smart on him.

He reminisced how Afro B once reached out to him for his help not knowing it will end this way.

Confronting him through his Instagram account Nsemoneeofficial did not yield any positive results as Afro B pretended not to have heard the song in question.

Commenting on his long silence over the matter, the ‘Odo Letter’ composer said he was seeking legal advice from his attorney.

After more deliberations with his legal representative, Uncle Nsemonee has threatened to sue Afro B soon.

He disclosed to www.newshuntermag.com that the legal process is being finalized by his legal team.

Copy right infringement is a serious offence so let’s wait for the outcome of this case between Uncle Nsemonee and Afro B once the former is able to prove the similarity of the songs at the court of law.
