Sinohydro deal: Akufo-Addo gives to Ghanaians what Mahama gave to his sibling
Like a woodpecker who prioritizes familial ties over the well-being of the masses, he did not only consider pillaging our resources but went ahead to gift our precious mineral deposits to his brother.
About 78% of our bauxite deposits were gifted to Ibrahim Mahama under some dubious contractual agreements which have since been terminated by the Akufo-Addo administration.
Unflurried by the seas of condemnations that followed that failed hegemonic enterprise, they went to the Supreme Court to have the termination reversed. The Supreme Court sent them packing with their unpatriotic posturing.
The Akufo-Addo Government saw it expedient to let the masses benefit from the very asset Mahama freely gave to his younger brother. The Infrastructure for the Bauxite deal was promulgated.
The bauxite Mahama gave to his brother, the over $200 billion worth of minerals which Ghanaians would not have benefited in any way apart from Mahama and his family members, is giving us roads and other infrastructural projects.
On Monday, November 11, the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, announced that the first tranche of the Sinohydro cash, $640 million which is to be used on a number of road projects, is in town.
This is what we call a judicious use of the country’s resources. The roads will be constructed, all thanks to the ingenious manner in which the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration has handled the matter.
A vote for the NDC is a return to Egypt, a trip back to the era of economic quagmire, dumsor, high unemployment rate, no free senior high school policy, a crumbled health care system and many other ills time may not allow me to enunciate.
May God continue to bless His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
