Stop peddling falsehood about missing male genitals – Awutu Senya Municipal Council cautions public

The Awutu Senya East Municipal Security Council has warned that anyone caught peddling falsehoods about missing male genitals in the municipality will be severely sanctioned.

It said it had come to the attention of the municipal security council that some residents were peddling rumours that some ritualists were in the municipality (Kasoa and its environs) and that anytime they touched the genitalia area of a male, the penis of the victim disappeared.

“Investigations have revealed that no such rumours have been corroborated by any medical team so far. The issue has generated a lot of fear, panic, and chaos amongst the residents of the Awutu Senya East Municipality,” a statement signed by the head of the municipal security council, Anita Love Obo Amissah, said.

The security council, it said had taken very serious exception to the matter and as such wished to inform members of the public to go about their normal duties without fear.

It said the security council operatives were on top of their job to ensure a happy Easter celebration.
