Mark Addo wins GFA Vice President position

Nzema Kotoko Chief Executive, Mark Addo has been elected as the new Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Mark Addo polled 6 out of the 11 votes cast on Tuesday November 5, beating renowned broadcaster Randy Abbey and Tony Aubynn.

Randy polled 4 votes while Mr. Aubynn polled just a single vote.

The newly elected vice president, who is also a football administrator, is expected to officially begin work for the GFA on November 6 under the GFA boss Kurt Okraku and other executive council members of the association.

As part of their mandate, the new administration is expected to revive the sport in Ghana and make it attractive in the country and the world.
