Ghana’s Black Queens arrive in Ndola for crucial Olympic qualifier against Zambia

Ghana’s women’s national football team, known as the Black Queens, have touched down in Ndola, Zambia, as they prepare to face off against the Zambian women’s team in the second leg of their Olympic qualifier clash.

The stakes couldn’t be higher as both teams vie for a spot in the upcoming Olympic Games which will be held in Paris.

In the first leg held in Accra, Ghana, it was Zambia who managed to secure a victory. Despite a valiant effort from the Ghanaian side, the match ended 1-0, courtesy of a goal by Bay FC attacker Rechael Kundananji in the 18th minute.

Now, the Black Queens are determined to turn the tide in their favour as they gear up for the decisive rematch on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Zambia will also be looking to maintain their advantage and secure their ticket to the next phase of the qualifiers.
