The Black Queens, Ghana’s national women’s football team, have kicked their preparations into high gear ahead of their crucial Olympic Games qualifying match against the Copper Queens of Zambia.
With the match scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024, the team wasted no time in hitting the training grounds at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Under the watchful eye of Coach Nora Häuptle, the squad showed determination and focus as they fine-tuned their tactics and sharpened their skills during the intense training session.
Eighteen out of the 23 invited players were present, with the remaining five expected to join the camp in Accra by Monday evening for the team’s upcoming training session on Tuesday.
